🚀 Open Nexus Product Update (July 11, 2026) – Smarter Notifications, Better Schedule Management & Workspace Improvements
Hi everyone,
We're excited to share our latest Open Nexus update with several improvements designed to make managing your shipments faster, easier, and more intuitive.
🔔 Smarter Notifications
We've enhanced the notification experience to make it easier to manage and distinguish your notifications.
- Read notifications now have a grey background, while unread notifications remain white for better visibility.
- You can now select multiple notifications and mark them as Read or Unread in a single action.
- We've also refreshed the Read and Unread icons for improved clarity.
These improvements make it quicker to organize and keep track of your notifications.
⚙ Better Organized Notification Settings
Notification Settings have been reorganized to make finding and managing your preferences much easier.
Notifications are now grouped into:
- Booking File Notifications
- Schedule Notifications
- Task Notifications
- Document Notifications
- Chat Notifications
- Exception Notifications
Within each section, notification types are sorted alphabetically, with enabled notifications displayed first so they're easier to find.
📅 Enhanced Schedule Preview: Quickly identify schedules with Schedule Number, Carrier & Creation Date
Schedules are now easier to identify and reference.
Each schedule now includes a static Schedule Number, a Created Date & Time, and newly created schedules automatically appear at the top of the list while older schedules remain below.
We've also added the Carrier to the Schedule Preview card, allowing you to quickly see which carrier belongs to each schedule without opening it.
📊 Adjustable View Table Columns
You can now resize columns across all major Open Nexus view tables, including Booking Files, Tasks, and Notifications.
Whether you want to make columns narrower to display more information or wider to improve readability, your preferred column widths are now remembered the next time you return.
👥 Faster Participant Search
Adding members to a Booking File is now much faster with a new search field in the participant selection list, making it easy to find the right person without scrolling through long lists.
✨ Additional Improvements
We've also introduced a couple of quality-of-life improvements:
- Consistent Country Lists – Country names now always follow the selected Open Nexus application language (English), providing a consistent experience throughout the platform.
- Cleaner Booking File Duplication – Booking Instructions are no longer copied when duplicating a Booking File, helping ensure instructions are created specifically for each new shipment.
