15. Wrapping Up a Shipment (Lifecycle)

Each Booking File in Open Nexus follows a simple lifecycle that reflects its current operational status.

Booking File Status

• Active → The shipment is currently in progress and being worked on.
• Completed → The shipment has been completed and no further operational work is required.
• Cancelled → The shipment has been cancelled and will no longer proceed.

The current status of a Booking File can be viewed and updated from the status dropdown at the top of the Booking File.

Updating the status helps users clearly distinguish between ongoing, completed, and cancelled shipments and keeps the Booking File list organized.

Keep the Booking File status up to date so your team can easily identify which shipments still require attention.
