13. TMS Reference & Integration

Open Nexus allows you to link your shipment with external systems using a TMS Reference (Transportation Management System Reference).

The TMS Reference is a unique identifier that connects your Booking File in Open Nexus to your internal or external transport management system.

How It Works

• You can add a TMS Reference to a Booking File during creation or editing
• This reference acts as a bridge between Open Nexus and your internal system
• It ensures both systems are aligned on the same shipment

Why It Matters

• Avoids duplicate data entry across systems
• Enables easier tracking between platforms
• Supports future system integrations and automation
